Dear readers, the heat wave in this part of the world is creating new records every day. It is about time we start paying attention to our environmental changes and do something before it is too late to realize our mistakes.

A month-long summer vacation for both of my kids will be ending soon. One of the biggest tasks I face during school time is deciding what to cook for tiffin boxes, cooking is not a problem as long as we know what to cook. The challenge is to decide the menu every morning or at night which should be healthy and delicious. Being a mom of two, I have realized that “any problem that I face is something that other moms must be going through as well”.   1. This is helpful now that school has started. I also prepare the sabji bhuna or sauce bases the night before and add the rest of the ingredients in the morning. I am glad kids still take healthy, home cooked meals to school.
