For the Always-There Mother
- Dear Mom,
Thank you for the big things and the small. For the meals, the hugs, the advice, the patience. Thank you for believing in me even when I didn’t believe in myself. Thank you for showing up, again and again, with love in your eyes and strength in your hands. I hope you know how deeply I love you, and how grateful I am to be your child. - Mom,
You’ve been there for every version of me, the quiet child, the confused teenager, the growing adult. You loved all of them without hesitation. I don’t know how you always knew exactly what I needed, but you did. Thank you for being the one I could always count on, even when I didn’t say it out loud. You are the reason I believe in unconditional love. - To My Incredible Mom,
Thank you for being strong when I didn’t know how to be. For holding everything together, even when no one asked how you were doing. I saw you. Even when I didn’t say it, I saw your quiet strength, your grace under pressure, your love that never asked for recognition. You are the strongest person I know, and I am endlessly proud to be your child. - Mom,
I don’t say it enough, but thank you. For every time you were tired and still made time for me. For every hard day, you hid behind a smile so I wouldn’t worry. For the endless love, the forgiveness, the patience. You gave me everything and never asked for anything in return. I love you more than words could ever fit on a page. - Thank you for being the place I came from,
and the place I still come back to even now.
Your voice is stitched into my calm,
your love tucked into every corner of my courage.
I hope I’ve made you proud because everything good in me began with you.
That’s all for today. Make this Mother’s Day extra special by showing your emotions and saying these words. It is important to show your loved ones how much they mean to you 🙂
