Book: In Search of Love Author: Piyushi Dhir Genre: Romance Fiction
A book that is a perfect read for a weekend. A sweet, romantic and relatable, love story which is beautifully penned by the author. There are few lines in the book that just hit the right cord, like
In a Solitary planet, all on his own
Dark and dim, prefers to be alone….
Yet there’s a girl, whose company he doesn’t mind
With her, he is all chivalrous and kind
For someone who is usually so quiet,
With her, he is talkative all right….
For someone like me who is an ardent fan of love stories, this comes as a pleasant read. There is the conversation bit in the book between two characters wherein the female lead character replies about her likings through a poem and I just couldn’t help admire the simplicity of the words with such affection in it:
Honey and water, a lemon tree
Small little things that fill me with glee
A fluttering butterfly, petals of a flower
Drop of a dew, A sudden rain-shower…(Continues)

My Recommendation:
Read it if you enjoy reading romantic novels. It is a perfect match for a hot cup of tea on Sunday morning. Characters are relatable which is why we can connect with them easily. One thing that keeps it different from others is the simple yet effective writing of the author.
Don’t forget to read my review for Isha Inamdar’s book True Liars.
I love reading romance as well as thrillers. This book seems to have all the requisites I look for in a romance novel and would be in my to get book list.

High five, Kavita! I’m also a big fan of love stories. Romantic is one genre that I always prefer to read while traveling. With your review, it seems like a nice light hearted weekend read.?
So this is going to be a part of ‘To read’ books for me 🙂
Being a thriller and crime fiction lover, I’m not such a huge fan of romantic novels. But I guess this title attracted me, maybe this is my state of heart in the subconscious mind. ‘In search of love’ will go in my to-read books. Thanks for the review. Good luck to the author Piyushi and to you Kavita.
Thank you Kavita. Glad you enjoyed reading the book.
