Dear readers, this blog post is specially written for new parents looking for recommendations for maternity hospitals. The post is based on my experiences and a few mom friends who have opted for these hospitals. This is not a sponsored post but a step towards helping you finalize or shortlist the hospitals if you are still confused.
If we list important things during pregnancy then a good doctor and a maternity hospital will be top. During my second pregnancy, I met with a handful of gynecologists and visited many hospitalizes because the first pregnancy was as horrible as it can get. It was a traumatizing experience.
Choosing the Right Maternity Hospital
When selecting a maternity hospital in Greater Noida or Ghaziabad, consider factors such as:
- Expertise and Experience: Look for hospitals with experienced obstetricians and neonatologists who can handle routine and high-risk pregnancies.
- Facilities and Technology: Check for modern amenities such as advanced labor rooms, NICU facilities, and emergency care services.
- Patient Reviews: Read reviews and testimonials from other parents to gauge patient satisfaction and quality of care.
- Location and Accessibility: Choose a hospital that is conveniently located and easily accessible during emergencies.
- Support Services: Consider hospitals that offer additional services such as prenatal classes, lactation support, and postnatal care to support you throughout your journey.

1) Motherland maternity hospital & IVF center (Noida)
Doctor: Dr. Karnika Tiwari
She is one of the best doctors one can connect with. I had a wonderful experience with my second delivery.

2) Cloudnine Hospital (Noida)
Doctor: Doctor Manisha Ranjan
A friend of mine can’t stop going gaga over her experiences with this hospital and doctor.
3) Apollo cradle and children’s hospital (Ghaziabad)
Doctor: Promila Singh
4) Manipal Hospital (Ghaziabad)
Doctor: Vinieta Diwakar.
Ultimately, the best maternity hospital is one that aligns with your preferences, provides comprehensive care, and prioritizes your well-being and comfort. By choosing a reputable hospital with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, you can ensure a positive and memorable childbirth experience.
We had a cesarean delivery and were in the hospital for three nights and four days. We were admitted on the 9th of September evening and our delivery was scheduled for the 10th of September for early morning hours. We were discharged on the 12th of September.
The total expense of the delivery including the charges of some vaccination of the newborn were approximately 1.50 lakhs to 1.70 lakhs.
Being someone who had gone through the harrowing experience of birth in my first pregnancy left me traumatized, I did all my research before finalizing this one. The process was quite smooth. From documentation to hospital necessities, they made sure that it was a wonderful experience. The staff was really helpful.
Dear moms, do the research. Talk to people and be prepared, do not panic (I know it is easier said than done), and listen to a little less unwanted advice if it’s making you uncomfortable. The more relaxed and calm you are the easier this process will be, it is all going to be beautiful. Breathe 🙂
